Freddie Mercury-Would have been 65 today

I really got into Queen after their performance at Live Aid and then at Wembley stadium the following year.Never actually saw the band in person at a concert and wasn't their last live band appearance at Knebworth?

Even in Queens later years i enjoyed their music and videos whilst a fan of his music and as a stage performer and entertainer his private life activities caught up with him sadly.

The wife dragged me along to Knebworth for what proved to be the final concert. Please she did. He was a fantastic, charismatic performer. Can't get up to Oakwell that often these days so have to make do with watching "The Reds" of Crawley Town who come on to Queen's "We are the champions".

 

RIP Freddy - a true musical legend. I can't believe it will soon be twenty years since he passed away.

Probably. Although I'd breed a culture in my family home that told them it would be unacceptable to find a member of the same sex attractive so I'd never have that problem.

Afraid to say I'm a strict follower of the Bible and, I quote 'you shall not lie with a man as a woman that is an abomination' (Leviticus 18:22). If it wasn't good enough for Jesus, it's not good enough for me.
