    downloaded Win version of Photoshop CS2, works a treat, was looking to buy for some flash work I need to do periodically, so you've just saved me 60 odd quid.

    Cheers for this, just got around to downloading it.

    Just having trouble installing creative suite.

    The installer gets a third of the way through then says, insert disk 2? Anyone know how to get around this as I have disks 1,2 and 3 downloaded?

    Probably not of interest to most of you but for the record, Adobe is denying this is a 'legit' giveaway

    Adobe was forced to shut down its activation servers for this product due to a technical problem, with the result that remaining licenced CS2 users would be unable to use the software. To rectify this, Adobe put the files and a serial number up on their site for the use of existing licenced customers. Although the download and key is available to all, if you didn't own a licence in the first place you're still not a licenced user now.

    Adobe have said they will not prosecute anyone who downloads and activates the software. Ultimately, while they've dropped a huge clanger in commercial terms (kind of - this is 8 year old software that no-one is likely to buy any more), it's a PR goldmine of sorts - free software that might encourage people to change from alternatives and maybe buy an upgrade to a newer version.
