    Well if you are being pedantic, that's what he was on according to the tinterweb prior to release so it's not as though he was demanding the earth in terms of football players wages.

    But hey if he has saved well in his career, he could realistically be on more than £2.5k per week from his savings alone.

    2 sites I've seen put him on 40 Grand when with Middlesbrough and last 2 clubs in Turkey on between 6 and 7 grand .
