I fit into the first category!



The concessionary travel permit enables you to travel on buses and trains free of charge.

How do you know if you are eligible?
You are eligible for a bus pass if you fit into one of the following categories:-

If you are a permanent resident of Barnsley.
If you are aged 60 (unless you are blind or partially sighted).
If you have had amputation/absence of a lower limb causing difficulty in walking.
If you have a defect of the spine or of the central nervous system or other motor defect that makes the control of lower limbs difficult.
If you have a permanent or substantial disability that causes considerable difficulty in walking.
If you are registered blind or partially sighted with Social Services.
If you suffer from learning disabilities.
If you have had your driving license refused or revoked on medical grounds.
If you are deaf or without speech and registered with Social Services.
Or if you are without the use of both arms.
