With the Freedom of Information Legisltion can an individual have access to the financial dealings and financial state of any institution such as Barnsley Football Club.
We are given snippets via the Barnslry Chronicle and the girl behind the desk said that they were able to offer free ST's to children because the club was in a 'good financial position to do that'

You can only make a request under the FOI to a public authority e.g. local government, or a hospital.

However, you can download financial information from Companies House (annual reports etc) - need to know the exact legal entity that owns the club tho. (i seem to recall it was something like barnsleyfc2002 Ltd)
