http://freegan.info/Lets face it , its nothing new, in the 90's travelers used to raid the supermarket bins at closeing time for just out of date food and more recently smack rats do it, to free up extra resources for a bag o brarn.
But if you are going to eat food for free, why scrounge around the bottom of a bin for it.
Just been out with the dog walking and found 12 santa rosa plum trees on the edge of a wood, 8 apple trees inc a braeburn, granny smith and golden delish along the canal bank,a Pear tree a Damson tree and loads of blackberrys all for free, also this years seems like a good one for hazel nuts, loads everywhere..and all fresh from the tree(dribble)
happy picking...
