Anyone got a Freesat box? Situation is that the Skybox upstairs is be playing up, picture keeps pixalating, tried resetting it and still doesn't resolve it, it was old Sky box that was moved when I got Sky+ and I had multiroom on it, no longer have multiroom and just use it as a freeview box, so I figured I'd just replace with a freesat box. Been seeing some that have access to BBC iPlayer etc and even some that give access to any programme in the planner from the last 7 days.
Just wonder if anyone has one to recommed, don't want recording facility on it, and looking at under £100.

I can't recommend any but those which have access to every programme from the last 7 days tend to not actually do what they say. Youview claims to do just that until you read the small print and it's actually just selected programmes from the last 7 days. In other words it's just BBC iplayer or sky on demand but with the programmes laid out in chronological order rather than by genre.

Have you tried swapping the box upstairs and the box downstairs just to make sure that it is indeed the box that's knackered and not a problem with the cables or even the LNB on the dish? It's worth doing before going out and buying a new box only to find it has the same problems.

Yes, going to try that tomorrow when missus is at work and not getting annoyed with me messing about.
