The Championship club are likely to send a young-looking squad to South Elmsall with the Reds also taking on Rotherham United in a friendly on the same day.

The match is the fourth pre-season game confirmed by the Blues and will bring the third Football League club to Westfield Lane this summer.

Frickley have already confirmed friendly clashes against S****horpe United for Tuesday, July 16 (kick-off 7.45pm) and a Sheffield Wednesday XI on Saturday, July 20 (kick-off 3pm).

North Ferriby United will also visit on Saturday, August 10 (kick-off 3pm), the last weekend before the start of the new Evo-Stik Premier League season.

The Blues had hoped to add a date against Sheffield United to their pre-season fixture schedule but the Blades pulled out of a proposed clash.

I love how the XI basically means they'll be wearing Barnsley shirts but you'll have never heard of any of them...

That depends on who you are.

I would like to think i would have at least seen there name on the website (for example). That doesn't say anything about the players that are there.

Well I for one can barely control my excitement. You never know, you might get a chance to get a first glimpse at the next Jamil Adam or Kern Miller.
