Frimpong: "How am I going to pull the birds, playing for Barnsley?" Well, not calling them dogs is always a good start. http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/31/emman...g-to-pull-girls-playing-for-barnsley-4285492/ The culture shock hasn't even kicked in yet. To be honest, I think this will be the biggest opponent for a trendy young urbane like Manny.
Re: Frimpong: "How am I going to pull the birds, playing for Barnsley?" he's a twitter twonk. has previous. hope it doesn't spread to the pitch
Re: Frimpong: "How am I going to pull the birds, playing for Barnsley?" Not exactly an ideal first statement. Think this signing will be an interesting one for many reasons.
Me too Then again I also enjoyed The Sunday People's tweet: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en-gb"><p>Deadline day fever! Here's Emmanuel Frimpong, visibly ecstatic at moving from Arsenal to Barnsley. <a href="http://t.co/PcK989kyE2">pic.twitter.com/PcK989kyE2</a></p>— The Sunday People (@thesundaypeople) <a href="https://twitter.com/thesundaypeople/statuses/429234532223823872">January 31, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Just watched Danny Baker and Danny Kelly's show on BT Sports and they had a few laughs about Frimpong coming to us, Kelly calling him a horrible man. So I had a little look on Google and he certainly seems to have had a few issues. Hopefully Danny can control him! It all just seems a little strange to me. Lets hope his heart's in it.
Throw Mellis into the mix and it will be a house on fire. Ben and Danny will turn up for work one morning and find a big, smouldering hole in the ground where Oakwell used to be.
Well, I was expecting problems from him, but not that quickly! At least he now has next Saturday off to draw the birds!
