Even wilson admitted that he was naive and inexperienced in a derby so why didn't we just play our OWN naive inexperienced player Digby there instead of, as usual, someone elses? I watched him before kick off and he spent a full 10 minutes shooting from the edge of the area at an empty net and he didn't get a single one on target until the very end when he pretty much just rolled the ball into the net. He even had 2 shots go out for a throw-in. Even after you've made the mistake of playing an inexperienced, naive player in an important position why on earth didn't he take him off after his first booking when he was jumping in all over the place? He behaved like an absolute idiot diving in for a certain red down by the corner flag with no danger and ultimately cost us the game. Would be a long time before he got another start under me
hindsight's a wonderful thing. i imagine he was in 99% of everyone's starting XI. he was in mine. no one can be held responsible for him acting a complete lovely person
Totally agree with this. wendies away was totally the wrong match for his debut given his aptitude for hard tackling.
To be fair he would have been in my starting eleven wad really excited yestdi when he signed just what we needed I was thinking and you would have thought he would have a point to prove he is only contracted till eos if he fecks this up which ova clubs going to take a chance on him just hope he sorts his discpline out.
