They were more likely to have been calling him a useless, idle waste of space who was stealing a living from the club. ******.
The guys a complete idiot, but nobody should have to put up with racist abuse. Can hardly blame him for losing his head, even if he is renowned for doing so. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Mate, it was monkey chanting. It's appalling. Nobody deserves to hear that. It's 2015, the mind boggles. Fact that he was a bellend is irrelevant. He ought to have Cantona'd em.
I didn't listen so didn't hear it. You're right it is unacceptable and you're also right that he's a bellend.
Disgusting. Still, if he hadn't wasted his talent in England he could still be playing a league where players get more respect.
let's be clear though, no one can see or hear what the target of the gesture said or did. we can't just assume they were making racist chants. for all we know it was hemsy in the crowd saying 'you should have never left barnsley. you were in my best XI since promotion'
yeah i heard that loud and clear. despicable. but that's not to say the person he had a go at was making em. coulda just been dragon tyke swigging his 5th bottle of beaujolais, saying his youtube videos are $hit
Frimpong may well be/is a knoob. The racist chanting is nothing to do with him being a knoob of a player though. It is completely unacceptable and should be condemned by all as such. People who do not condemn this type of behaviour are, in my book, racists themselves whatever spin they subsequently peddle as an argument to sustain their point of view.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33577956 This is the stand out comment for me: Ufa general director Shamil Gazizov said his club would not be calling for Spartak to be punished, describing it as an "unfortunate incident". "What Frimpong did was wrong. Sometimes you even have to hold back the tears and just put up with it." - Pretty shocking to think a man in his position is calling racism unfortunate and saying he should just get on with it In the BBC post on facebook, someone also posted this: 'There have been more than 200 cases of discriminatory behaviour linked to Russian football over the past two seasons. But in March former head of Russian football Vyacheslav Koloskov said too much is made of racism in the country and has also questioned why monkey chants are assumed to be racist.'
