Did anybody else think it was unfair.Debatable if it was a foul in the first place but never a booking in a million years.I fear his reputation may go before him.On his playing side I thought he gave a very mature controlled performance. He's going to be a big player for us in our survival fight.

Think it was his first foul of the match. I got the feeling the ref couldnt wait to book him.

Got to say i have never seen a barnsley player win so many tackles, not only the 50-50's, but the 40-60's and some 30-70's . Tremendous performance.

Shows what we were really lacking with clowns like Dawson, Etuhu and Perkins playing CM.

Possibly not a foul, but I thought he was lucky to get away without a booking after a challenge where he appeared to catch one of their players above his waist. There didn't seem to be any intent with that tackle either, but I don't think intent matters with a high challenge.

Very good performance from him, though. He looked much more like the player I thought he'd be.

I was waiting for 28 to get booked as the ref was booking him as he blew for half time but chickened out. Thought Frimpong was harsh.

To be fair to the 'clown' Dawson - thought he played well yesterday

The referee indicated that he had committed earlier fouls - that's why he booked him on that occasion.

But that was when you could fly with both feet at waist height. The "animal" was immense though, gotta admit.

Gwynn Thomas won a fair few 10-90 tackles as well :)

    I thought he did OK/well

Thought the ref was just waiting to book him! Hope he builds on yday, does what he's getting paid for and gets Dench!

Our season could depend on Denchness. Innit

Frimpong was booked for a professional foul rather than foul play. Their player had already beaten Dawson who was then two metres away and out of the game. If Frimpong had not brought down their player and he had been beaten himself, then there was no Barnsley player between him and a clear run at the back four. He took one for the team, but it is a booking.

It was given on a totting up basis. The referee pointed to three different areas of the pitch just prior to booking him, basically saying "I pulled you up here, there, and there, I have to now book you".

Thankfully, he kept his head this time and didn't steam into his next tackle.

    Learning.

When it came off, his tackling was exceptional. I do feel however he jumped in far too often rather than standing off a little bit and waiting for his man to make a move. He got beaten a couple of times like this and it was a good job Cranie and Ramage were playing well. Obviously a bit of inexperience creeping into his game, after all, he's only played about 25 professional football matches.

You see him blowing millwall fans kisses and giving them a nice hand gesture by his nether regions in first half.
