groves all the way for me. he was the better fighter last time. now he's just hungrier, fitter and groves is that bit older. i think groves will knock him out within 5
A few years ago I was a big fan of Groves but every time I see / hear him these days I go off him more & more. He made himself look a right tit there. Froch will stop him again, he'll be behind on points when he does so & will have to take some big shots on the way but his experience, toughness & stamina will get him through like it has done many times before.
I hate that accent of Froch, He believes he two free shot on groves at end of last fart and when you give a farter like him free shots on another farter it's dangerous I think he should stop farting and start fighting other wise he'll end up on deck again
That's the East Midlands for you. I'm sure there's someone down there right now making fun of our 'feyt' version.
Groves was shown up, not just with the handshake but that whole interview. He's like a child. I hope Carl doesn't hurt him too much.
I said groves would beat him last time because froch thought he was a different class and I thought Groves would shock him I was wrong, but this time I think froch will shock groves by being a lot better then he was last time with his defense and counter punching just hope I'm wrong again
He'll not knock about he'll be tentative get work done for a minute then staying clear it's only way he minimize the amount of times groves catches him his game plan will be to drag him distance and do him very late on ounces he's slowed down and run out of steam
That was like a scene from one of those dreadful American soap opera's. Is that the best they can do to sell boxing these days.
Groves is lucky his whinging got him a rematch. He's also lucky as a no belt challenger to have been given so many privilages, no more so than home advantage. Froch will stop him again but unlike last time without the distractions of..... 1) Recently becoming a parent. 2) Doing the ITV primetime show Stepping Out during his original fight training. 3) A niggling back injury that had him pull out of said show before he was voted off so he didn't risk having to cancel the original fight.
It's strange that, because I think the aggro, the build up, the 'drama' around this fight is the most interesting I've known. I loved Calzaghe and saw him live many times, but there wasn't really a huge build up, animosity etc, not to this degree. You can clearly tell that Groves and Froch hate one and other. I can't wait for Thursday's conference.
