re: Is he any good? They said the same thing and let him go but having said that they had better players at the time and he still replaced them from time to time because of injuries and suspensions. He had a good first season for us and won player of the season. He wouldn't have been my choice though as he seemed to missing in some games. He was poor last season and around January he was on my list of players i would have let go for free. He was being linked with Barnsley way back then though. He's been much better this season though and is without a doubt playing his best football of his career for us. When he doesn't play, we miss him a lot. He's a box to box midfielder and doesn't go missing as much as he used to. He scores goals too and is good in the air. I wouldn't say he's a Championship player though but i suppose around better players he'd perhaps shine. Still, worth a lot more to Bury than 25K! We don't have to sell either.
