    To all Barnsley FC supporters.....

I would just like to say on behalf of us loyal and decent Cardiff City supporters I thought you were a credit to your club yesterday.

My friends and I met many of you and, for the most part, you were all very nice decent people. We chatted and had a good laugh together whilst wishing each other all the best and to enjoy the day - just as it should be. Of course we wanted to win as much as you all did - that's why we support our clubs. But I'd like to think the majority of Cardiff fans had the decency to wish you well.

Unfortunately, both clubs yesterday had an amount of scum (I won't call them fans) that travel to profile games and behave in an applauding way to opposing fans. It seems most clubs in the country have this and no matter what we do we can't get rid of this cancer in football.

But let's not focus on the negatives here, you Barnsley fans (just like us) would have taken a semi final day out at Wembley at the start of the season.

I can only say that I thought you were a great bunch of supporters, and I along with the true Cardiff City fans wish you well. We hope you stay up this season - and who knows, we may even be able to help your fight in some way.

Can I finish by saying that Cardiff is a great City with decent and welcoming people. Just like Barnsley FC, Cardiff City is a great football club with a proud history.

Keep well and stay positive, Barnsley FC are a great football club.

Let us all be proud when we win - but even prouder and stronger when we lose and know we'll be back to win another day.

    From
A true, loyal and decent Cardiff City supporter
    A proud Welshman

We have a Cardiff fan on here on a regular basis

He's always good for a laugh, and gives fans on here a very positive picture of Cardiff fans.

Like I've posted, people are bit upset and need to vent some feelings.

I met quite a few Cardiff fans yesterday, and got on well with them. I saw Barnsley fans acting just as bad as some Cardiff fans, so we can't be too judgemental.

    I saw no trouble

Both sets of supporters were vocal before the game and didn't see any trouble after either.

I'm sure there were some morons out there who wanted to cause trouble. There were some so called Barnsley fans on the trian on the way home with an escort from the BT police so I'm sure they had been acting like dickheads.

Anyway, good luck for the final.

    RE: I saw no trouble

Thanks as always if you are to win in these matches you need it and with KO's miss yesterday we had had some.

You have hit the nail on the head with "So called fans" all these people do is attach themselves to the club.

    Well said

Sadly with 80K people there, there are bound to be some morrons on both sides.
Fortunately, I only came across true fans on both sides, and had a great day out (pity about the result, KO has never been upto the job).
So good luck to Cardiff in the final

    RE: I saw no trouble

Unfortunately luck wasn't involved wit that miss. No excuse for a striker really. He should have at least made the keeper save it.

Thought we dominated the first half (excluding the ninth minute of course!) but second half you were the better side.

We visibly lost confidence after that miss and your superior quality players began to dominate.

Hugely impressed with Ledley and Whittingham for you guys.

    Hasselbank was awful though.

    RE: I saw no trouble

Both JFH and Thompson have a worse touch than Hesky and fail to hold the ball up.

We finally have a brave GK who will come and put his body in the way to collect crosses, massive help to the defence.

Looven and Johnson have been like that all year for us as CB's who work as a pair, hopefully next season Johnson will be our captain and purse on the bench/gone as he is too slow and makes too many errors.

Whittingham had a good game, you never know what your going to get from him no consistancy whatsoever. Mcphail dosen't IMO do enough going forward but when he wants to he can pass very well and use his vision, rarely though, not captain material IMO.

Ledley does that for us every game, he'll be gone in the summer, he's Cardiff through and through and his family sit near me so we are delighted for him. Ramsey came on for Mcnaughton. Mcnaughton is an excellent player who gives 100% every game and hardly puts a foot wrong, Ramsey can play anywhere another one for the future.

Hamman did a lot of bad things for us but did set up our academy thanks for that Sam.

Gavin rae has been excellent and does Mcphails tackles for him, Mcphail often spelt Mcfail by us.

I thought we had blown it when Rae headed straight at Steele and that was the luck you needed to go on and win. I was taking a pi$$ when KO missed that chance soon after and not until this morning had I seen a replay of it.

I feel very sorry for him as it obviously wasnt on purpose and I hope somehow he goes on to score the goals thats needed to keep you in this div. They do some silly things footballers do no matter how much training they get and football can be the cruelst of sports but I bet nobody feels as bad/hurt/sorry as he does today.
