Morgan has done stupid things in the past. David Johnson was a 20+ goals per season striker until Morgan went in with an over the top challenge. He never fully recovered and was never the same player again.

Does anyone remember the time he stamped on a player when they were lying on the floor and was sent off? Or what about the time he headbutted one of Forest's players in anger and was sent off and warned by Warnock that if he did it again he'd be shown the door? Or how about the elbow on Van Persie.

He didn't intentionally set out to hurt Hume but he has done this kind of thing before. He hasn't done anything like this for a couple of years but it's a lie to make out that he doesn't do this kind of thing
