I think it'll be a slow burner this summer regarding recruitment. I see a couple of deals done within a week or two, but then perhaps a little wait. I would imagine the players we're after will also have other options and we are at the moment a risk in terms of Championship potential so it may take some paitience. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of loans come in as late as August to supplement what we manage to get beforehand. Really hope the bulk of the team is in place before the proper pre-season friendlies begin.
I reckon he's quite in the know about bids and approaches, but often reports them as a "done deal" - if they fall through, well they fall through. If the deal is done, he looks like a hotshot reporter for breaking the story first. I reckon the Isgrove kaboodle falls into the former category. Heard about the approach, reported it as a done deal when it's nothing of the sort.
