I have heard from a usually reliable source that we are about to have the heart of our team sold. Campbell ryce to Notts Forest £750k Muller to Preston £1.5m Anderson to Bolton £1.75m Also rumoured that the following players are coming in Unsworth Luke Beckett John Harley. IF this is true i would be totally disappointed in davey considering we are in a decent position compared to last year.
To quote Jeff Stelling "your avin a laugh man" Not a prayer! Muller to PNE..... seems unlikley, from both camps. If Muller goes it will be to the Prem surely, and PNE already have decent keeper so couldn't justify splashing cash like that. As for JCR...... same could be said why would he want to move to a club below us in the league who look like they will be involved in the relegation dog fight. Also he has just signed a new deal, seems happy so it would take more than £750k to tempt the board at Oawkwell etc etc etc and the players you have suggested we are signing are past it of lower league players, can't see it........ Infact why did I even bother replying to this thread! load of ballacks!!!
Only four million for three of our main players? Getting Beckett from none league? Where would Preston get the money for Muller from? Unsworth is **** at Huddersfield according to their fans. What a pile of BS.
The difference was That Howard wanted to go and wanted to go for more money and no one in the prem was interested also his contact was up at the end of this season so he could go for nowt I could see Muller or JCR going to a championship side with a good chance of promotion that is a short list of 3 though and Preston arent on it I can say that we wouldnt sell any player at the right price but JCR on a 3 year contract is worth more than 750K - and I cant see him wanting to go to Forest Nearly everything on Football rumours is rubbish - occasionally on the law of probabilities a correct story appears but there is no way of knowing which small percentage they are.
