I went down to Colchester today. It was like watching a league 2 game in a conference sides stadium. I honestly though the Ref had a very good game, he got all the big decisions right. Apart from our second penalty. The ball was blasted at a colchester player from point blank range and I thought we were extremely fortunate to get the handball. There was little evidence to suggest that we were gonna equalise without it. Don't say we never get any luck! The 3-5-2 formation looked much more solid. The only time Colchester caused us any problems from open play was when teddy 'when you gonna die?' Sheringham scored after stealing a yard at the front post, something he's done throughout his illustrious career. We once again looked dreadful from set plays. If they didn't score from one, they went mighty close. A couple of other points. Paul Reads sending off was an absolute disgrace, he blatently elbowed a player and left the ref with no alternative just when his side needed him the most. What a div. If davey has anything about him it should be a while before he is trusted to wear the shirt again. Appalling. Also, it is becoming clear that the best footballer at the club is Grant Mccann, his passing is excellent and he has a coolness on the ball. He's one of the few players who does not automatically look to hoof the ball aimlessly up field. If he can't break in to a 3-5-2 formation their in something wrong.
Agrree with his points about Reid and McCann...Reids an average League 1 player and Grant needs a run in the team, either left wing back or dropping Ricketts
No. That is a shocking indictment of a player who has only played a few games for us and who has shown real committment Give them A BREAK AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON

what utter bllx mcann was great when he came on , passing and vision. 2 yards quicker than werling who was by far our worse player , he makes heckingbottom look like a good alternative. souza will be our player of the year. muller commands his box , the rest ........not sure but we do not get behind the opposition defence playing this system , we created very little today but had the majority of the ball.
yes old boy , i went and i saw werling was a joke , taken off before sent off sorry 3 yards because mcann gains a yard with his speed of thought.
