Barnsley pair sign new contracts

Barnsley have extended the contracts of central defender Bobby Hassell and winger Robert Atkinson.
The 26-year-old Hassell has committed himself to the club for am further two years, taking him up to 2009.

Since joining the club from Mansfield in 2004, Hassell has established himself as a key figure at Oakwell and has been stand-in captain this season.

Atkinson, 19, has also signed on until 2009 after making seven first-team appearances this season.
