Pymouth Argyle are to sign Neil Shipperly and Chris Lucketti on loan for the rest of the season from Sheff Utd. Also Penrice and Breaker to fianlly arrive on Monday 18th sept after negotiations between chairman Paul Stapleton and his counterpart at QPR, Paladini.

I Know Nothing To Do With Us, But If True, Then Both (Shippereley & Lucketti) Would Have Been Excellent Signings

    Whats Everyone Else's Opinion?

That footy rumours website is a load of ***** and should be banned from this one!!!!!

All it is, is the ability for the ordinary fan to post what he has supposedly heard. no more no less. if this site were to be believed we would have gone bust with the amount of signings we were going to make.

my opinion anyway, nothing personal mate

I've heard the Shipperley to Plymouth one on a couple of forums. Lucketti would be a better signing for us.

    any defender would....

but we all know that we could streghten and we all know some reasonable players we could possibly attract.

What is obvious, is that AR is on a loyalty trip, but if it were the other way round, ie relegation, the players would all run a mile and most leaving the club in the lurch.

loyalty isn't anything in football these days (well few and far between anyway), its the nature of the game, so AR has to accept that if someone came in with a wad of cash (a la flinders) he will be shipped out without much choice, and so will players want to leave should a higher respectable club want them.

The hurdle we need AR to get over is the fact that they should also be prepared to be replaced.... so they don't get in a comfort zone!!
