Simon Davey's "99% certain" signing is set to be spaniard Diego Leon. Leon who is 24 currently plays for Grasshoppers Zurich and was in the Executive Suite for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace. The Spaniard is believed to be worth around £450,000 and plays in midfield. With Brian Howard and Anderson De Silva both rumoured to be plying their trade at Goodison Park, Everton in January, Davey knows midfield could be a main department to strengthen. Leon has scored 3 goals in 25 appearances for Zurich since signing in 2006. Previously he netted once in 14 games for German side Arminia Bielefeld
He has been recommended by Werling, they played together at Bielefield so that probably means he can hit the ball hard, but cant tackle without getting booked.
