Sam Speaks: Bull Set For Barnsley Bow By Craig Hope SAM Allardyce says that Spanish signing Jose Enrique could make his Newcastle United debut against Barnsley next Wednesday. The Geordies host the Championship outfit in the Second Round of the Carling Cup and Big Sam is targeting that game to unveil the £6.3m summer arrival from Villarreal. Enrique has been working with United's coaching staff at the club's training ground over the past couple of weeks as he continues to build fitness and adapt to life on Tyneside. And, while Allardyce has refrained from using the Spain Under-21star so far this season, he told Newcastle World TV that the game against the Tykes is the ideal chance to hand Enrique his Toon bow. "I think we could see Jose as early as the Barnsley game next week where he'll probably make some sort of appearance," said the 52-year-old gaffer. "The game is an opportunity to put one or two players in to make sure they get a good run-out against very competitive opposition in a competition we want to go as far as we can in." All we need now is/are ticket details!
