FAMILY FUN DAY AT OAKWELL

BARNSLEY Football Club will open its doors to the next generation of Reds supporters next month with a special Family Fun Day at Oakwell.

Fans of all ages will be able to take advantage of some very special discounts for our clash with Colchester United on February 10, 2007 - and to top it all every youngster under the age of eleven will be able to watch Championship football free of charge (terms and conditions apply, see below).

The Reds are looking to pack the stadium for the big game and encourage the next generation of football supporters in the Barnsley area to come down, enjoy the match and be hooked on all things Oakwell.

Tickets for the Family Fun Day are priced at

ADULTS - £15.00
SENIOR CITIZENS - £10.00
JUVENILES (11 - 17) - £5.00 *
JUVENILED (U11) - FREE OF CHARGE *

THE Official Barnsley FC Website has managed to grab an exclusive prize ahead of the Reds Family Fun Day against Colchester United on Saturday February 10, 2007.

We are offering one lucky youngster the chance to be a walk on mascot prior to kick off as the Reds go head to head with the Us.

The winning youngster will get a tour of Oakwell Stadium and opportunity to meet the players and coaching staff prior to the game, a Mitre mini ball, a special t-shirt, their name in the Oakwell Review and on the Official Website and the opportunity to walk out with one of the Reds first team prior to kick off. The winner will also receive a ticket for the game plus an additional ticket for an accompanying adult.

Season ticket holders will be able to claim a free ticket from the Oakwell Box Office on production of their season ticket book together with proof of age for the child. Existing season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to move to a suitable seat in the same area or the North Stand if no second seat is available next to them.

Barnsley Football Club will open up the North Stand to Reds supporters as part of the special Family Fun Day with a host of special events and giveaways throughout the afternoon. We will have special 'Clicker Sticks' from Wickes; Mini Balls from Mitre as well as face painters and clowns throughout the North Stand prior to the game and at half time. Many more special events will be confirmed in the build up to the big game.

The Colchester United game will also see the launch of our special new half time entertainment - On Me Shed Son - in association with Wickes.

Terms and Conditions

Tickets for the game will go on sale at the Oakwell Box Office at 9.00am on Monday January 22, 2007.

Season ticket holders will be able to claim their free ticket from the Oakwell Box Office on production of their season ticket book together with proof of age for the child. Existing season ticket holders will be given the opportunity to move to a suitable seat in the same area if no second seat is available next to them.

Any other adult purchasing a full price match ticket will be entitled to a free ticket for a child aged under eleven.

All youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.

All free juvenile tickets must be claimed from the Oakwell Box Office by 5.00pm on Friday February 9, 2007.

The offer extends to all home areas of the stadium and has also been offered to supporters of Colchester United.
