Maybe the club should have got them to fill in a form when they

last signed a contract, with stuff like their telephone number on.

    From Official Site.

BARNSLEY Football Club can confirm the latest situation in regards contract offers after the four-week deadline passed last Friday.

Antony Kay has indicated he will enter into more discussions with the Club this week; Bobby Hassell is expected to put pen-to-paper on a new contract shortly and Nick Colgan has informed the Club that he will meet officials for further discussions when he returns from a family holiday in the United States this week.

Paul Reid has already committed his long-term future to the Club by signing a new deal.

The Club have heard nothing from Chris Shuker or Neil Austin.

    More soon.

I think that's Shuker negotiating tactic, hold out for as

long as possible - final piece in the jisaw and all that.
