From official site - we're not after Windass

BARNSLEY manager Andy Ritchie has moved quickly to distance himself from radio reports linking the Reds with a swoop for Bradford City striker Dean Windass.

Reports on TalkSport this morning had linked the Oakwell club with a shock move for the 36-year-old, who has bagged 13 goals for the Bantams this season.

However, Andy told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "Funnily enough someone asked me about that the other week and I told them that any manager in this or probably the higher division would be interested in Dean if he was available but I do not think Bradford would even consider it.

"As far as I am concerned there is no truth whatsoever in those rumours and it has not come from here at all".
