    Strange team selection by Hill. Three central defenders and still we can't defend set pieces, no natural midfielders and, apart from Allen, substitutions that didn't influence the game.

    Actually thought we were doing ok with ten before the first debacle from a corner, and from then on it was a procession. No excuses here, your lot looked to want to finish off the season in style whereas we just wanted it to end.

    It shouldn't distract from a great campaign for Dale, but it does a bit.

    Rochdale looked poor. Lacked heart and void of ideas.

    Jamie Allen is a very good player though.

    What was going on with all the complaints about the sending off? As clear a second yellow as you'll ever see surely?

    Was Allen the #24 ? Looked decent whoever he was.

    Not a clue. Some in our end were the same. The second was a clear yellow, but it was the first one that annoyed me the most; Rafferty jumped into the challenge with no way of winning the ball and it was a booking all the way.

    For about ten minutes Allen was controlling the whole game, but it was never going to last.

    Kudos to the Rochdale fans at half time for showing respect to the Barnsley supporters whose walk to Bradford last weekend raised so much money for charity. Nice gesture from the Barnsley fans, too, towards RNL when he came across to take a first half corner.

    The right back that came on for you second half looked quite good going forward I thought but yeah Allen stood out the most for you.

    I was pleased with the reception RNL got, I still think he was treated a little unfairly by us

    I was impressed with the no 24 looked cool and composed in fact ran the game for 15mins

    The game was very even, you were probably edging it upto the hour mark. Even with 10 men. Our huddle style set piece got the better of you, twice in succession, which effectively ended the game. The score line was probably a little harsh but I just think it was a case of season over by the time we got our 2nd. We've been low on confidence lately which is why I think we didn't ease up.

    I would say its the opposite to be honest, most Barnsley fans think Hill is a knob.

    If i didn't want to read threads posted by a Rochdale fan or about Rochdale, I'd not go onto a football forum when my team is playing Rochdale. I certainly wouldn't click threads started by Rochdale fans just in case there's any Rochdale content, what with Rochdale playing my team.

    However Rochdale is my team, so I'm certainly stuck for options.
