    It wouldn't really surprise me in the slightest if a team like United took Stones.

    Flitcroft said he had a voicemail from Ferguson when he got up this morning, played it to his kids before they went to school, and then phoned Fergie back for a chat.

    I remember reading that Ferguson tries to get in touch with the new managers and give them advice, chat to them, etc. It's one of his better qualities.

    Instalments of 3m per season and the balance when we deliver him safe and sound once he's come of age. If he gives up football and becomes a missionary in Africa at any point we still get to keep the money.
