From Yorkshire Post Striker frozen out as Davey plots run Barnsley v Blackpool BLACKPOOL striker Keigan Parker could be frozen out of today's FA Cup third round tie against Barnsley ahead of a proposed move to Oakwell. The Tykes have agreed a fee for the former Scottish under-21 international but have yet to finalise the deal. Blackpool manager Simon Grayson said: "You can agree a fee and agree wages but, until we decide that it is right for him to move, he is still our player. "If he does join Barnsley, he won't play against us in the FA Cup." Barnsley will also be without the services of new signing Diego Leon, who has joined the club on a free transfer from Swiss club Grasshoppers Zurich but who is still awaiting his international clearance. Manager Simon Davey is hoping for a repeat of November's league victory over the Seasiders at Oakwell but admits that it will be a tough game. Barnsley have gone six games without a win and Blackpool have taken 10 points from the last 12 available. "It is nice to go into a game this weekend without the pressure of picking up league points," said Davey. "Having said that, we want to win this game and will put out our strongest team. We want a decent Cup run and do not want to lose our excellent record at Oakwell." Assistant manager Ryan Kidd has been charged with misconduct by the FA folowing remarks made to officials after the 1-1 draw with Ipswich last month.
