    Mercy leave for reds ace
BARNSLEY centre-back Matt Carbon has been given compassionate leave
He was excused involvement in Saturday's match to be with his sick father.

Carbon could be back for tomorrow's FA Cup replay at Bradford City, although manager Andy Ritchie will be sorely tempted to retain the squad that brought a 5-2 victory against Scnuthorpe United on Saturday.
Ritchie has already ruled Stephen McPhail out of the Bradford tie. He has a knee injury but is expected to be fit for Saturday's League One match at Yeovil.
Keeper Nick Colgan missed his third game in a row on Saturday with an ankle problem. Ritchie was checking on his progress today.
Daniel Nardiello could play for Barnsley reserves this week against Huddersfield Town at Oakwell on Wednesday. He has recovered from a damaged hamstring and could also play a part in the busy Christmas programme.
Neil Austin (groin) and Bobby Hassell (knee) were casualties of the win over Scnuthorpe and there is growing concern over winger Chris Shuker, who has a heavy cold.
Bradford City could be missing goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts tomorrow night.
He was sent off at Southend on Saturday by referee Paul Armstrong after gesturing at fans behind his goal.
Bradford are appealing against the ban, claiming that born-again Christian Ricketts was not being abusive despite being the target of racism.
A decision from the FA was expected later today.
Striker Dean Windass took over in goal after Ricketts' dismissal as the game finished 1-1.
Bradford manager Colin Todd was sent to the stands after appearing to berate the fourth official just before half-time. He is expected to face an FA charge.
