Reds deal 'still alive' LEON Constantine's agent Eric Hall has claimed the striker's move to Barnsley is not dead in the water. A swap deal taking Oakwell centre forward Marc Richards to Port Vale with Constantine moving in the opposite direction hit major snags yesterday. Neither player managed to agree personal terms. Richards returned to Barnsley and came off the bench to play in last night's FA Cup replay while Constantine has been ordered back to Vale Park for training today. Despite talks breaking down, Hall insisted: "Leon wants more time to think it over, he has not said no." Vale manager Martin Foyle wants Constantine in his squad at the weekend. "Barnsley have made him an offer that is way above our budget he has turned that down." Constantine is out of contract in the summer and can move for nothing then.
