BARNSLEY boss Simon Davey will go into Saturday's colossal South Yorkshire derby without his first choice centre midfield pairing of Brian Howard and Sam Togwell.</p>

Brian injured his shoulder and neck after falling badly in the second half of Saturday's defeat by QPR. The injury will keep him out of today's clash with Burnley and the visit of Sheffield Wednesday in just four days time.</p>

Sam picked up his fifth caution of the season at Loftus Road and will automatically miss the visit of the Owls.</p>

Speaking exclusively to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Simon said: &quot;We still have not been able to make a full assessment of Brian's injury because the muscles were still in spasm yesterday and it has not settled down. He will be nowhere near fit for today or even Saturday if I am being honest.</p>
