Luton Town hope to sign Barnsley goalkeeper Nick Colgan on loan after failing to sign him permanently :'(
No chance of even getting him on loan. The idea of bringing in Muller was for competition and so sending Colgan out on loan would defeat the purpose.
If they let him go out on loan we are back to square 1 regarding GK's. Only one first team goalie, no cover and no competition for the place. Terrible decision if it is allowed to happen.
If Colgan goes out on loan and at his age he'll want first team football , then we can also get someone on loan can't we. It's no use keeping unhappy players.
Which goalie is gonna want to come on loan to sit on our bench? A kid or somebody who isn't good enough.
He won't be happy not playing, but I don't think he will be so unhappy he wants to leave. He seems the type who would rather fight for his place than run away to another team.
RE: You would have thought we'd learnt a lesson from last year! Please don't remind me. Only just got over that Luton game. :'(
