From the Official Site - Damage of Seats etc

BARNSLEY Football Club can confirm that several supporters were ejected from Oakwell on Saturday following incidents in the Gangway One area of the Enterprise Stand.

A large number of seats in this area have been persistently damaged and broken throughout the course of the season. The damage has been caused by supporters standing and jumping on the seats during the game. As a result a large number of stewards were deployed in this area during our match with MK Dons (Saturday January 21, 2006).

Several supporters were ejected following persistently standing on the seats during the game. One was ejected from Oakwell for attempting to set fire to a seat in this area using a lighter and newspaper.

A number of supporters standing on seats in this area had purchased tickets for different seats in the Enterprise Stand and were accompanied by stewards to their correct location.

Of those persons ejected, any season ticket holders can expect to be severely dealt with by Barnsley Football Club.

I mean, WTF? Trying to set fire to seats?!?!?! Why for gods sake?
