Hope somebody can name and shame them.... Quite a few incidents recent where we have been involved with the FA.
F-u-ck me ragged. They've been after that lower corner of The Enterprise Stand for a while, and those knobs have given them the perfect excuse to shut it. Well done everoone. - That's not a dig at the club or stewards btw, but the proles that went on the pitch.
Totally agree BUT we could have caught allot of these idiots IF the stewards had done there job. By that I mean they actually helped fans get back into the stand after they had ran about.
Football Association and Barnsley Football Club..............you sad b@stards !!!! They will not get any help from me identifying these fans!!! If a few fans can't run onto the field when we have just scored against one of our most fiece rivals who they haven't beaten for many years then it is a massive shame to the game of football It just shows what a state the game of football is in No one was attacked no coins or other objects were thrown DISGRACE !!!!
sorry but.................. we know the rules at the start of each season-no excuses-poor stewarding though
RE: sorry but.................. well said young nudger i totally agree with you 100% if someone was injured or there was a mass riot on the pitch by them fans running over to them and give it the big un then fair enough but come on, it is the same at every single match more or less especially the rivals if we score a brilliant goal and bring it back to win we always get fans on the pitch, its basically a rule at oakwell
I Guess Nudger....... as long as someone had a good reason. They could open your front door and come into your house and you wouldn't press charges or do anything about it.
only got ourselves to blame There was no deterrent or attempt at prevention even after the first 'spill' out of the stand.
GS should order an internal investigation as to why nothing was done.

Southend againt Man U.............full pitch invasion after the match If the FA act according to the number involved, are we looking to close Southend United down ??? Doe's anybody on here want to close Southend United down ??? Thought not Great to see Southend Fans running onto the field after beating Man United It shows the feelings of the fans Its football FFS...........if you don't want emotion join a knitting circle
90% of the fans on the pitch came from the East Stand. So blaming the lads in the Ponty as the sole instigators is a little wide of the mark.

RE: Football Association and Barnsley Football Club..............you sad b@stards !!!! Fair enough its nowt compared to some of the other incidents thats gone off but why do grown men(?) want to run onto a football pitch anyway? Its beyond me. Probably the first game of the season for some of them as well.
Everythings to petty thesedays all this health & safety thats come into the country, load of ***** everythings over top, a few fans on pitch not guna hurt owt it's only grass it wa soon cleared up, why do they have to do reports en all that *****, the went on field en then come off why dont the just forget abart it instead of keeping someone in a job writing a report of a 10 second incident its Crazy
RE: Football Association and Barnsley Football Club..............you sad b@stards !!!! Doesn't happen at other clubs - why should it be allowed to happen at Barnsley. No-one has to run onto the pitch, why not celebrate in the stands. We have an FA judgement hanging over us from last year, now we may be deducted points - cheers.
To a certain extent I can see your point. As a mate just said to me, Stoke didn't have much action taken last year when their fans ran onto the pitch and smacked QPRs keeper. Certainly not points deducted.
This was just a few over-exuberant fans going too far and getting into the pitch, but its still against the rules. People should know they face a ban if they go onto the pitch, but in my view there's certainly no need for the FA to impose any sanctions on us- we should be allowed to deal with it ourselves.

No but you can act as a detterent Otherwise what is the point in being there?
Do you not agree that after the first spill out of that same section of the stand that extra police (who were stood doing nothing leant up against railings in the west stand watching the game) or a couple of extra stewards should have been drafted over to stand in that area to make the idiots think twice?
