"A ridiculous dive by Parkin cheated North End back into the game on 73 minutes as the big striker's over the top theatrics conned a free kick right on the edge of the box. Wallace planted his effort over the wall and right into the top corner." Is it just me that thinks that a report shouldnt be so unprofessional as to accuse someone of "cheating" and "conning". Id expect it on here as worse things are said but on an football clubs official website?? I would like to think they were above all that stuff. Obviously not.
well, im guessing rob knowles would have written the report, so nuff sed.......... plus what else would you call a dive...... an honest write-up of the match, if you ask me
I don't think Rib Noodles would give a **** if one of our players had done the same to get us back into the game. Obviously if we do something similar to what Parkin did, Rib is going to call us cheats so to be completely impartial yeah....
Something more diplomatic like "ref awarded dubious freekick" or " Parkin went to ground very easily".............
