    <div class="ds-headline" id="ds-headline">Hang on to McPhail plea</div><div class="ds-firstpara" id="ds-firstpara">BARNSLEY'S Brian Howard fears his midfield partner Stephen McPhail could be set to leave the club.
    </div><div class="va-bodytext" id="va-bodytext">Several players, including senior professionals McPhail and goalkeeper Nick Colgan, are out of contract in the summer.
    Said Howard: &quot;Those contracts need to be sorted out. Clubs are bound to be interested in players like Stephen McPhail. We could find ourselves promoted to the Championship and lose him to someone else.&quot;
    The club are unlikely to open contract talks until they know the outcome of the play-off final with Swansea a week on Saturday.
    They will recruit if they win a place in the Championship next season.
    Barnsley are expected to scoop around £250,000 for reaching the promotion showdown at Cardiff.
    Chairman Gordon Shepherd said: &quot;We share the money between all four clubs who have been in the play-offs. I thought, three or four weeks ago, that we got a great deal more than we did. In fact we get 25 per cent of 50 per cent of the pot. The League takes 50 per cent to start with. We get 12 and a half per cent of all the money.
    &quot;It's not quite as much as I'd hoped, but nonetheless a welcome addition to the finances. A ball park figure, I would guess at quarter of a million.&quot;
    Tickets for the play-off final went on sale today at Oakwell to season ticket holders. They go on general sale on Monday.
    Barnsley have back-tracked over the decision not to handle postal ticket sales.
    A statement from the club said: &quot;We have had e-mails from supporters who live too far away to collect tickets and we are now making arrangements to handle postal requests for tickets from people living more than 40 miles away.
    &quot;At this late stage, payment by cheque cannot be accepted; requests for tickets therefore must be accompanied by credit/debit card details and written permission to debit the account.&quot;
    Postal applicants will have to pay a £5 surcharge. </div>
