Leicester, Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday trail Barnsley, who lost at home 1-0 to Leicester on Saturday, in the league, with Wednesday occupying the only remaining relegation place. Said Davey: "We've got a home game, Southampton have to go to the leaders, West Brom, and Sheffield Wed-nesday have to go to Leicester." Southampton's game at the Hawthorns has been switched to Monday for TV coverage. West Brom need only a point to confirm their promotion to the Premier League. Barnsley's two remaining games are against teams with nothing to play for in the Championship. Charlton, who were beaten 1-0 at QPR on Saturda and are now out of the play-off reckoning, are at Oakwell this weekend. "Teams who are not playing for anything play with freedom, they're a different type of animal. We have to make sure that we're ready for them," Davey declared. Barnsley's last game of the season is a week on Sunday at Cardiff, who play their FA Cup final against Portsmouth two weeks later. "We have to take care of our own business," Davey added. "There are big games all the way up to the end of the season. We've got two big games. "I've always been confident. We always do things the hard way." Charlton boss Alan Pardew hinted he will experiment at Barnsley on Saturday now that the London club's season is effectively over. "It's very painful. I've got some honest players who are hurting now. It's been a season of frustration," he said. "The fans expected to bounce back but we haven't done that. For us now it's a chance to have a look at a couple of thin <div id="ds-mpu"></div>gs for next year and get a head start on everyone else." </div>
'Barnsley's two remaining games are against teams with nothing to play for in the Championship.' Oh I'm sure Ridsdale would see it that way !!!! The chance to put us down and get one over on PC and GS, I think he'd enjoy that as much as winning the FA cup !!!
RE: I missed the game on Saturday as went to a wedding - was it No not really, well up to them scoring there was only one team in it really. After they scored, well it was dire !</p>
RE: 'Barnsley's two remaining games are against teams with nothing to play for in the Championship.' He can have a word with Dave Jones without doubt, but I'm not sure he'll be playing tbh mate Think it'll be a stroll for you at NP (same as it was for Hull last year), nobody's going to want an injury before the cup final and if it still means something to you, you'll walk it. You should be alright after Saturday anyway, cross fingers. For his sins, my old man's a Charlton fan and things are not all tickety-boo down there to say the least.
RE: 'Barnsley's two remaining games are against teams with nothing to play for in the Championship.' One point from Saturday would have been enough - Now we need 3.
