Rovers star for Barnsley TWO in, one out was the anticipated transfer tally at Barnsley today. Doncaster Rovers' Michael McIndoe and Crystal Palace's Sam Togwell are the arrivals; goalkeeper Scott Flinders i s set for a new career at Selhurst Park. The final details of McIndoe's £125,000 move from Belle Vue to Oakwell were being settled today. He is expected to sign a two year agreement. Midfielder Togwell and Flinders are both done deals with Palace. Barnsley have made a significant profit on the exchange. Palace manager Peter Taylor tabled a bid for 20-year-old Flinders last week. It would have eventually netted Barnsley £500,000. Neither the Togwell fee nor the price on Flinders' head were being revealed today. Togwell, who is 21, joined Palace as a youngster and came up through the ranks to make his debut during the 2002-2003 campaign. He made only four first team appearances for Palace. Togwell went on loan to Oxford and Northampton during the 2004-2005 campaign. He made five appearances for Oxford and then a further 10 at Northampton. He joined Port Vale on loan last season and scored against Barnsley at Vale Park in January 2006. He turned out 30 times for Vale, netting four goals. Togwell has agreed personal terms and put pen-to-paper on a deal keeping him at Oakwell until the summer of 2008. Edinburgh-born McIndoe, who is now 26, ended last season on loan at Derby. He started six games in the Championship. Rovers bought him from Yeovil for £50,000 in the summer of 2003. He played over 120 times for Doncaster, scoring 35 times. Both McIndoe and Togwell are expected to be in the Barnsley squad for Saturday's charity match on the Isle of Man. 13 July 2006
