Davey brought in over a dozen new faces last season. Of that group, striker Kim Christensen and veteran midfielder Andy Johnson have been put on the transfer list a year later. Top Oakwell priority is a striker. Misfit Peruvian centre forward Miguel Mostto is expected to report back to Oakwell next month but Christensen and Istvan Ferenczi are not in Davey's plans. Neither is Daniel Nardiello, who Barnsley took on loan from QPR last winter. Ferenczi has been reported to be a target of Nottingham Forest. No official approach has been reported by Barnsley. Breakthrough new signings are not expected until the end of the month when players' contracts expire, holidays are over and pre-season beings in earnest. Meanwhile, Barnsley general secretary Don Rowling and director Barry Taylor will be at the Football League's Championship clubs' annual get together next week. This year the venue is Portugal. </div>
