    Ive given up hope

    I suspect the best we can hope for is a left footed centre half that can cover at left back eg Nyatanga.

    what about a left winger and attacking midfielder?

    It seems to me that we're covered at right back, right wing and defensive midfield but need to sign players in all the others.
