It is understood that a cash offer has been tabled.Barnsley are be interested in re-signing Lewin Nyatanga, the Derby centre-back who was on loan at Oakwell last season. Chris Lucketti, another Barnsley target, is poised to sign at new deal at Sheffield United. Claude Davis's £3 million move to Derby from Bramall Lane could free Nyatanga for another loan switch though.Left-back Robbie Williams was back at Oakwell yesterday. He is on a week-to -week contract at Barnsley, having turned down a new long-term deal.Blackpool's interest in Williams could have cooled following John Hills' move from Sheffield Wednesday to Bloomfield Road.Davey said that two or three clubs had enquired about Williams but Barnsley will not sell cheaply.The players reported for the first day of pre-season training yesterday.Only Peruvian striker Miguel Mostto was missing.He will join the squad on Monday.
