Warner had a rough beginning to his Barnsley career last Saturday.

Hours after signing on loan from Fulham, he was beaten four times at Coventry.

"They didn't really score any good goals, we were our own worst enemies,"Warner reflected.

"We seemed second best all round.

"There were many things that have been addressed in training.

"It's now time to forget about Coventry and look forward to West Brom."

Last April he was in goal for Norwich when they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to West Brom.

Already this season West Brom have scored an awesome 65 league goals, making them the hottest shots across all four domestic leagues.

Barnsley boss Simon Davey has made no secret of his admiration for Tony Mowbray's goal-hungry team.

He rates them hot favourites for promotion.

They beat Barnsley 2-0 at the Hawthorns in September and it was West Brom who gave Davey probably his worse day as a manager when they thumped his team 7-0 on the last day of the 2006-7 season.

What do you think? Post your comments below.

Kevin Phillips netted a hat-trick and Nathan Ellington scored twice. Robert Koren and Zoltan Gera hit the target too. Ellington has moved on to Watford but West Brom still have a sure-shot strikeforce.

Phillips is on fire this season. He is the most lethal finisher in the league with 16 goals already. Roman Bednar, who has a £2 million price tag on his head, has netted nine, Ishmael Miller seven and Koran also seven.

Despite an injury to England under-21 player Miller, Mowbray understandably is happy with his forwards.

"They all believe they can all score goals and to do it they have got to look over their shoulders and wonder if the manager is going to play them or leave them on the bench," he said. "Then, if they are left on the bench, they won't have a gripe about it because they understand the guy who is playing is banging goals in as well."

Miller will miss tomorrow with a hamstring injury.
