From the Weekender.........Wendy taking root now at Mexboro Rangers

    After they have taken Hoyland Magpies they are now using Mexboro Rangers as a feeder club
    You would have thought after what Pat ***** said after the take over business that the TYKES would be pushing to establish themselves in the out lying areas.
    It seems we are baring witness to a sunami of Wendy initiatives.
    Is there anybody at the TARN that is trying to establish links with youngsters in the district and in the out lying districts?

    but at the minute AFCB can't compete with BFC or SWFC for that matter

    It's not the first area for it to happen in and it wont be the last....

    we're linked with BFC. We get a good un, then we'll willingly pass them on to BFC.

    Thats what nudger was on about.

    I'm sure you would...

    but YN is talking abart the Fowls setting up a pyramid system to get the best local players from all of SY....something that we seem unable or unwilling to do

    Like I say

    we are always on the look out for players, and if we think we have a gem, then we will let BFC know immediately. I can't speak for BFC, and at the moment I don't particularly want to either.

    I'm not just talking about young players here !!!

    I'm talking about Wendy setting up camp in areas away from Sheffield and by doing so generate interest in that club. Over time that may generate support for the Wendy in these areas.
    One FCB at cud'uth is all the TARN has got going for it.
    We are miles behind !!!
