mmmm, oh well, let him go then. If we are to sign Jay Tabb he would be a more than adequate replacement.
A shame because he scored some great goals last season but in the last six months we didn't see the best of him at all.
We all know what he is capable of doing and for that alone I shall be sorry to see him go.
No good keeping hold of a player who doesn't want to play for us.

Not good news, but not too unexpected.

He refused a couple of offers last year before signing and then wanted a one year deal rather than the 2 year deal he had been offered. Oldham and Tranmere couldn't afford him last year, Luton?

Can't argue with that Omen, plus he was getting a lot of stick from the crowd, especially at away games.
Think he just got fed up with us all.

It just means the buying club doesn't have to fork out a fee

so more in the pot for Shukes. Probably why he insisted on a one year deal last year, scousers!

    Oh well.

Thanks for all your efforts Chris.

I suppose with Devaney, Hayes and McPartland on the books and the impending arrival of Jay Tabb (fingers crossed) the wings are looking a bit full. Not the best situation in which to bargain.

That's nowt to do with it

Scnuthorpe got a fee off us for Hayes but it was Norwich who trained him.

    RE: Oh well.

It is significant that on the main site Richie says the important thing at the moment is to get our out of contract players, Kay, Colgan and Austin signed up as soon as possible. There was no mention of Shuker!

    if Tabb signs

we could never have acccommodated too short-arses in the team anyway (too short for professional football! see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Tabb). Can we have a beefy midfielder as well please Andy?

    He was dropped because

He had already made it clear that he would not be signing a new contract
