"How we didn't get something out of this game I'll never know. We hit the woodwork at least 4 times and the ball cleared off the Barnsley goal line 3 times and deserved much more than **** all." Just shows how differently people see games. I thought anything less than a win and we'd have been robbed. As for the woodwork thing, they hit the post once (and scored from it so that doesn't count) and hit the bar once, but that was it as I remember.
Either a Millwall fan that lives close or they've listened on the radio so their opinion doesn't count. Either way they're wrong.
Post / crossbar are technically off target and misses. At least our chances made their keeper work where he pulled of 3-4 fantastic saves. Although I don't know why we had one disallowed nor how we didn't get a Pen.
Definitely sour grapes. I've no idea how we didn't win by more or how we didn't get a penalty. Nasty club full of neanderthals.
Couldn't really care less. Funny they didnt see at least 2 nailed on pens not given to us, not to mention the fact that we at least tried to play the match according to the general laws of the beautiful (sometimes!) game !
If I was a Millwall fan I'd be disappointed as well. But as it stands I thought we were well worth the win. What are these two penalty shouts everyone is going on about? Must've missed them.
Their keeper has to be their MOTM. Pulled off two great saves from Hammill (one being his curling free kick) and the through ball played to Winnall.
If I was a Millwall fan I'd be disappointed to have travelled all the way from east London and witnessed the team being outclassed by little old Barnsley. I've been very pessimistic of late but today the best team, by some distance, won the game. Millwall can have no complaints about losing today.
Technology helps. Haven't you seen the new keyboard that you smash with a stadium seat, even has predictive spell checker.
tbf and I know it goes against the grain with Millwall, but you can't tell me that there wouldn't have been a load of similar comments on here had the roles been reversed
The one I saw was the defender manhandling Winnall over...definite pen..the other was in the first half when Winnall was one on one with the keeper but too far from me to comment fairly.
I think the comments are reasonable. We played well dominated play but Millwall were, due to our defensive frailties, unlucky not to get summat out of the game. This isn't to detract from a good performance by us just how I saw it.
