Odejayi has struggled to get in the Barnsley side since his move from Cheltenham and it's reported that a few clubs were interested in the player before the January transfer deadline ended. Barnsley wouldn't let Odejayi go at that time as they had mounting injuries and needed him for cover but it is understood that once they have all their strikers back, the Oakwell club will be happy to let Odejayi out on loan.

Millers Manager, Mark Robins wouldn't deny or confirm the rumours but, after hearing reports that Rotherham United were prepared to spend £150,000 on the striker, did say, 'I saw those reports and I only wish I had that amount of money to spend!'

If he had £150K to spend, I doubt if he'd waste it on Oddjob.

Like Robins says, I would doubt if they could afford to spend £150k on a player. They will be in the market for freebies.
