Many years ago we used to play for dancing on Sundays at the Friendship, Gawber. Angus Wigglesworth (piano) ran the outfit, He made the announcements re dances etc. On one occasion he was announcing "Take your partners for a Mambo and a Samba". Instead he said "Take your partners for a Mambo and a Sambo" Just imagine the outcry these days.
