It's massively dissapointing but we have to face facts - MK Dons are a better side than us right now.

I was looking at the side before k.o. today and it's a million miles off the side we had at the start of the season.... and that side was a million miles off the side at the end of last season. Clearly we're in a transitional phase. Things won't change overnight. They might not sadly change over the course of the season but we have to give DW & his team a chance to build and develop.
We're a young side with no confidence. Winnall will be back soon and far from being a one man team, he's a goalscorer who could come in and kickstart a winning run, the young players may gain confidence and then look like a different side.
The guys who 'should' have stepped up for us this season haven't delivered (Jennings, Treacy, Lita...) so we revert to plan B.... which is a longer term strategy that needs patience.

I'm frustrated BUT I'll be cheering us on to victory against Port Vale next week mark my words!

Agree in part, but why sign a much-needed midfielder and leave him out?

Good post. Better than some of the dull prima donnas with their agendas

He comes with a decent reputation at Wycombe, but it's a step up for him and maybe Danny doesn't feel he's right for us away at MKDons... He must be knocking on the door and I fully expect him to start soon though.
As a bench player I'm not sure he's someone that could be brought on as a game changer - I saw Scowen more as cover today.
