his mind is in a mess. I got the impression that he did not want to come to a club in crisis, strugglers. Yet he has done exactly that. I am bewildered. It just has to be a money thing, that's all I can think of.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Hasn't scored for 17 months....guaranteed a couple on saturday
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha No better than what we already have for me. O'Grady will score more goals and Pedersens overall play is much better than Fryatt.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Wouldn't have minded him here but not sure he'd be ahead of O'Grady and Pedersen.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha not as combatative as grades
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Can't be anything to do with money. Matty Fryatt is contracted to Hull. Whether he plays for Hull or plays for a club on loan he will receive exactly the same wage. That wage is set out in his contract with Hull. The only thing that will change is who pays that wage. Sometimes the club that loans the player pays the whole wage, sometimes the parent club continues to pay the whole wage, but mostly these days each club pays a percentage of the wage: 50/50, 60/40, 70/30 depends on the deal that was struck. Doesn't matter to Matty Fryatt though, he gets exactly the same no matter who contributes what. It's my understanding that we reached a deal with Hull to take Matty Fryatt, so I guess we agreed who would pay what percentage. It was Fryatt who decided not to come. He would have got the same wage at Barnsley as he is getting at Wednesday, so I guess he thought they were a bigger club or a better prospect for success this year. His choice. We'll see at the end of the season.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Maybe he has a penchant for chasing long balls?
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Not strictly true. To my certain knowledge a loan player for us, under Robins, only agreed to come for 110% of his then currant contract salary plus a relocation allowance (despite the fact he did not have to relocate). This was to "compensate" him for appearance and win bonuses etc that he "may" have received at his parent club.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha only there for a month, it will take longer than that to get him match fit.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Who cares? For me it's the one area on the pitch where we don't need to strengthen. O'Grady, Pedersen, Scotland, Dagnall and Rose are all capable of putting up a performance in this division.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha I stand corrected. First time I've heard of that. Is that even legal under football league rules?
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha It seems it was just a matter of timing, apparently.
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha He has not played for ages. He is only there a month, and will hit the ground crawling. We are Breyer off with what we have
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Good spelling with I pad. Better.....
Re: Fryatt did not want to play for us, but he's gone to the Pigs.Quite amused by tha Quite an interesting one. He apparently turned down Forest because he wasn't guaranteed a first XI start. Leeds were also rumoured to have come in for him the other day so had the choice between four sides and chose Wednesday. Obviously chose over Leeds and Forest because he's going to start a lot more in the month he's there and probably chose above us because we're ***** at the moment.
